Change of plan
There has been a change of plan to our song choice and we have now decided to do a completely different song for our project. This decision comes as we have found another song that would suit the type of scene that we have chosen to film.
The first choice of song that we had in mind was 'Intro' by The XX #, which would of been filmed outside, and a psychological themed video, where the main character is walking around, feeling paranoid as if someone is following them, and they would of been portrayed as vunerable. However we felt this idea was too complicated, and would also be difficult to film outside because of the weather and losing light when filming.
We then had a second idea of song choice, which was 'How can you swallow so much sleep' by Bombay Bicycle Club, which was an idea that suited the song well. The plan for this video idea was for a group of friends sitting together, in low lighting, with one main character playing guitar or any other instrument, with everyone else listening, but we struggled to get enough people to film this
Finally we came up with our final idea of song choice which is 'Menswear' by the 1975. This idea includes one main character getting drunk after being shown complained at by his parents. Through the video the character is slowly deteriorating through the video. In the video there will also be a contrasting scene of him partying with 6 other people, which is a complete diffferent vibe and pace of scene compared to the other parts of the video
